Returns & Care

Every piece from sela.form is made by hand, one at a time. Because of this, no two are exactly alike — and most are truly one of a kind, the only one of their form that will ever exist. That's the heart of what we make, and it shapes how returns work here.

The Nature of Handmade

Slight variation is part of the material, not a flaw. Resin and jesmonite each carry their own character: subtle shifts in color, faint swirls, tiny surface bubbles, soft edges, and small marks from the maker's hand. These are signs that a real person made the piece you're holding, not signs of damage. The photos on each listing show the exact piece you'll receive, so what you see is what ships.

If Your Piece Arrives Damaged

We pack carefully, but the mail can be unkind. If your piece arrives broken or damaged in transit, email us at [your email] within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a few clear photos of the piece and the packaging. We'll make it right — a replacement where possible, or a full refund when it isn't. Please keep the original packaging until the matter is resolved.

Ready-Made Pieces

If a ready-made piece isn't right for you, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery. The piece must be unused and in its original condition. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, and we recommend a tracked, well-padded package — once a piece leaves us, its safe return is in your hands. Once it arrives back to us in original condition, we'll issue a refund for the price of the piece (original shipping is non-refundable).

Custom & Personalized Pieces

Custom commissions and personalized work — including mezuzah cases and any made-to-order piece — are final sale. These are made specifically for you and can't be offered to anyone else, so we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on them. We'll always confirm details with you before beginning, and we're glad to talk through size, color, and finish before you commit.

Caring for Your Piece

A little care keeps these pieces lovely for years. Keep your piece out of direct sunlight and away from heat, as both can affect it over time. Wipe clean with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth rather than soaking it, and avoid harsh cleaners. These aren't dishware unless a listing says so.
